On 12 November, Dharmendra was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital and transported home to continue recovery under his family’s supervision.

The actor’s medical team noted that he had stabilised and was no longer in hospital. Following the false death rumours from the previous day, the Deol family issued a statement thanking fans for their support and emphasizing the need for calm, discretion, and respect during his recuperation. The industry also rallied behind the actor, with several colleagues visiting and extending best wishes, while media outlets were urged to avoid unverified reporting.

  •  A hospital employee was arrested for secretly filming Dharmendra and the Deol family inside the ICU, which raised major concerns about privacy violations.
  • The Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA) condemned intrusive media coverage and filed a formal police complaint against paparazzi and media outlets for unethical behaviour.
  • As the privacy invasion escalated, appeals from Hema Malini, Esha Deol, and other industry figures intensified to respect the veteran’s recovery time and stop speculation

Dharmendra remains at home, under medical supervision, stable and continuing his recovery. The family’s consistent plea: please respect privacy, avoid speculation, and give him peace during this time.
