  • Narela
  • Najafgarh
  • Nangloi
  • Rohini

The project also focuses on integrating rural belts with the main city network, ensuring balanced and inclusive urban development.


List of 7 New Metro Corridors Under Phase V

The approved corridors under the Delhi Metro Phase V Expansion include:

  1. Dhansa Bus Stand – Nangloi
  2. Central Secretariat – Kishangarh
  3. Samaypur Badli – Narela
  4. Kirti Nagar – Palam
  5. Jor Bagh – Mithapur
  6. Shastri Park – Mayur Vihar Phase III
  7. Keshavpuram – Rohini Sector 34

These corridors will add 65 new metro stations and strengthen interconnectivity across existing metro lines.

Central Secretariat – Kishangarh Corridor

A partly underground line connecting key institutions like JNU and PM Museum, improving central connectivity.

Dhansa – Nangloi Corridor

An elevated corridor improving connectivity in Najafgarh and surrounding regions.

Jor Bagh – Mithapur Corridor

A major link between South and Southeast Delhi, with multiple interchange options.


Delhi Metro Phase V Expansion: Bigger Vision for NCR

The Delhi Metro Phase V Expansion is part of a larger plan where the total metro network could reach around 200 km under Phase V across Delhi-NCR.

Earlier, Phase V(A) covering 16 km was approved to improve connectivity around the Central Vista area.
