Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm ceremonial welcome on his arrival in Johannesburg for the G20 Summit, scheduled for November 22-23, 2025.

During his stay in Johannesburg, the Prime Minister will also attend the sixth IBSA Summit on the sidelines of the G20.With India’s focus on strengthening global partnerships, development priorities, climate resilience and technological governance, Modi began his visit with a bilateral meeting with Australian PM Anthony Albanese before heading into three key G20 sessions and the IBSA trilateral summit.
