Hero Motors made its stock-market debut on September 23, 2026, with shares opening at Rs 82 on the NSE. The listing price was below the company’s IPO issue price of Rs 84 per share, resulting in a discount of 2.38%.

On the BSE, Hero Motors shares opened at Rs 82.10, representing a 2.26% discount to the issue price.

The listing came after the company’s public issue received strong overall subscription during the three-day bidding period.

The Hero Motors IPO Listing followed an IPO that was open for subscription from September 16 to September 18, 2026. According to the reported subscription data, the issue was subscribed 6.66 times overall.

The retail investor portion saw subscription of 8.23 times, while the non-institutional investor category was subscribed 9.86 times. The qualified institutional buyer portion received 1.49 times subscription.

The IPO allotment was finalised on September 21, ahead of the stock’s market debut.

Hero Motors IPO Listing and Issue Structure

The Hero Motors IPO was a book-built issue worth Rs 1,000 crore. It consisted of a fresh issue of 7.14 crore shares amounting to Rs 600 crore and an offer for sale of 4.76 crore shares worth Rs 400 crore.

The price band was fixed with the upper-end issue price at Rs 84 per share. With a lot size of 178 shares, retail investors required a minimum investment of Rs 14,952 at the upper end of the price band.

ICICI Securities acted as the book-running lead manager, while Kfin Technologies served as the registrar.
