Amaravati: The wait for thousands of diploma aspirants in Andhra Pradesh is finally over. The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh, officially announced the AP POLYCET Results 2026 today, May 5, at 10:30 AM. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination can now check and download their rank cards online through the official result portal.
This year, the AP POLYCET Results 2026 have been declared with impressive participation. According to official exam statistics, a total of 1,77,581 candidates registered for the test, out of which 1,63,008 students appeared across various centers in the state. The examination was conducted smoothly on April 25, 2026, following the SSC-based syllabus in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Follow these simple steps to access your AP POLYCET Results 2026:
- Visit the official result portal at polycetap.ap.gov.in
- Click on the highlighted link: AP POLYCET Results 2026.
- Enter your Hall Ticket Number correctly.
- Click on the Submit button.
- Your rank card will appear on the screen, showing candidate name, subject-wise marks, total marks, rank obtained, and qualifying status.
- Download and print multiple copies for future counselling and admission procedures.

What After AP POLYCET Results? – Counselling Process
With the release of AP POLYCET Results 2026, SBTET Andhra Pradesh will soon release the official counselling schedule. Admission to diploma programs in Government, Aided, Private Unaided Polytechnics, and Second Shift Polytechnics will be granted based on the rank secured.
The counselling process will include:
- Certificate Verification (Original documents required)
- Web Option Entry (Selecting college and course preferences)
- Seat Allotment based on rank, reservation, and seat availability
- Reporting to Allotted College
Qualified candidates can seek admission into popular diploma engineering and non-engineering courses such as:

Important for Students: Candidates who qualified through Intermediate (10+2) for Hotel Management or D.Pharmacy are exempted from POLYCET. However, all other candidates must have a valid POLYCET rank.
